About Cheshire Taxation Ltd.

adam-cheshire-taxationHaving started at my first firm of Chartered Accountants when I was only 15 for work experience, I regularly returned to that firm every summer whilst I completed my GCSEs, A levels and a University degree.

Following my graduation in 2003 I went into full time employment for a firm of Chartered Accountants in Sussex near where I had grown up. After a couple of years there I moved up to Ellesmere Port, where I joined a Chester firm.

I changed firms in 2007 becoming an “accounts semi senior” before moving office to Runcorn, Cheshire and becoming a tax senior in 2009. It was here that in 2010 I qualified to become a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).

In 2011 I moved to Runcorn before I decided to set my own practice up in 2014. In 2019 I moved the business onto Regent Street in Runcorn Old Town, where it has settled nicely.

With each firm and role I have worked for I have learned new skills and ideas which have left me with a well-rounded accounts and taxation knowledge. It is this knowledge which I will put to good use to help me keep my clients’ tax liability as low as possible.

att-logoBeing a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians means that my clients can rest assured that I stay up to date with tax developments.

As a registered agent with HM Revenue & Customs I am able to communicate with HMRC (once a 64-8 has been submitted) to chase refunds, amend tax codes and deal with any other issues as they arise.

In addition, I have introduced a simple fees structure to ensure that all my clients know exactly what their fees will be from the outset. By keeping my overheads and expenses down – I am able to keep my fees low whilst maintaining a personal service.
